Templar's Managing Partners.
Peter Mack, President and General Manager
Mr. Mack has been involved in New York's design community since
1988, working first in print, including magazines and publishers
such as Disney, Mademoiselle, Details, SmartMoney, Prentice
Hall and Macmillan. During his career, he has directed and produced
two short films, designed CD-ROMs and written a Web-based game
for Microsoft's Windows 95 launch site. As an art director for
the Buoyant Company in the early 90's, Mr. Mack oversaw design
on Web sites such as AT&T's WorldNet, Reuters, Dow Jones, and
direct marketing sites for Rodale Press and Prentice Hall. Mr.
Mack formed the Templar Studios collective in 1997.
Kerri Mahoney, Creative Director
After graduating from the School of Visual Arts in New York
in 1993, Ms. Mahoney undertook cartooning and animation for
MTV's Oddities. Ms. Mahoney's interest in developing innovative
media content for children and young adults took her to New
Orleans, where she held art classes for local youth. Upon returning
to New York in 1994, she joined The Buoyant Company and soon
began developing the kids' e-zine JINX, which went on to be
nominated for Cool Site Design of the Year (by Cool Site of
the Day), in 1996. She has worked on a variety of properties
for children since, including the flagship design of Nick.com,
as well as games for Cartoon Network and AOL/Time Warner. Her
work has been featured in many magazines and articles about
Web design, including Mother Jones, Silicon Alley
Reporter, and Print. Most recently, Ms. Mahoney was
a volunteer with Geekcorps (www.geekcorps.org)
in Accra, Ghana, West Africa, where she taught Web design and
software skills to a local pre-press advertising firm.
Gordon Klimes, Chief Overseas Operative
Mr. Klimes studied film, video and animation at the School of
Visual Arts in New York. Since then, he has worked on a variety
of digital projects including Wanderlust Interactive's The
Pink Panther's Passport to Peril CD-ROM game, which won
the European EMMA award for best Family CD-ROM in 1996. In London
he was senior graphic designer for Traffic Interactive, working
on sites ranging from UCI Cinemas, Excite, Comic Relief and
British Telecom. Previously, Mr. Klimes was a lead storyboard
artist for the acclaimed network cartoon show The Tick.
Mr. Klimes was based at Templar's London office until relocating
to New York in 2001.
Brian Fisher, Director of Finance & Operations
In 1997, Mr. Fisher founded FishCom, a successful consulting
service that specialized in corporate and financial services
for small businesses. Previously, he was the Director of Finance
& Administration for Wanderlust Interactive, a multimedia publisher.
During his tenure there, Wanderlust completed its IPO and released
its first CD-ROM game Passport to Peril, starring The
Pink Panther. The game received international acclaim, winning
the Milia D'Or award, and was published in more than 20 countries.
Mr. Fisher's previous experience includes film production work
with MIRAMAX Films and Fine Line Features. He has also worked
in operations for Chiat/Day Advertising and Arista Records.
